How can I sign-up for hootscoop? 

Easy! Download the Hoots app from the iOS App Store or the Google Play Store from your phone. Sign-up is free and takes less than 3 minutes.

What do I get for signing up for hootscoop?

All first-time users receive a $5 discount towards their next purchase of $10 or more. This can be redeemed on a dine-in order, or on orders placed in the Hoots app or hootswings.com. You will only receive the sign-up offer upon your first sign up. If you sign up again, you will not receive the offer again.

How do I earn points?

Purchases you make in-person at a Hoots Wings location, in the Hoots app, or on the official Hoots Wings website are eligible to earn points. You’ll earn 10 points for every dollar spent (excluding sales tax, fees, or gratuity).

Can I earn points from my hoots orders on DoorDash, Postmates, or Uber Eats?

Unfortunately, no. We always recommend ordering directly via the Hoots app so that you earn rewards faster, and in most of our locations, delivery is available within our app.

How many points do I need to get before I receive rewards?

There are four (4) reward levels to the hootscoop loyalty program. Rewards are earned when you reach 500 points, 1,000 points, 1,500 points, and 2,000 points.

What rewards and free food are available, exactly?

Rewards are earned at four (4) thresholds, as follows:

Do my points ever disappear or expire?

Points will expire after 365 days of inactivity or one (1) full year from your last in-person visit or order placed in the Hoots app or on the Hoots website. As long as you have at least one transaction in a rolling year, your points will not expire. Every time you make a transaction, the expiry clock will reset, and the 365-day countdown will begin again.

Does Hoots give me anything for free on my birthday?

Yes, absolutely! Every year you’re enrolled in the hootscoop program, our gift to you is 10 free boneless wings with any sauce, rub, and dressing of your choice. All you have to do is buy a drink to go with it.

When will I receive my birthday reward and how long do I have to use it?

Your birthday reward will be added to your account 14 days prior to your birthday and will be available for use immediately and through 14 days after your birthday. In total, you’ll have 28 days to use your reward of 10 free boneless wings.

I didn’t receive my birthday reward. What do I do?  

If you signed up for hootscoop and your birthday has already passed for the current calendar year, you will receive your reward during the next calendar year. Check the ‘Profile’ page within the mobile app to confirm your birthday is correct. Your reward should be issued 14 days prior to the date listed. If you didn’t provide your birthday at sign-up, or if your birthday is incorrect, send an email to appsupport@hootswings.com and we’ll get things fixed for you.

I forgot the password to my hootscoop account. How do I reset my password?

Go to the sign in page on the hoots wings website and click ‘Reset Password.’ Enter the email address associated with your account and click ‘Continue.’ You will receive an email to reset your password. Alternatively, you can open the hoots wings mobile app, then tap the Login button, and then tap ‘Forgot password’ button.

I no longer have access to the email address I signed up with. How do I change the email address associated with my hootscoop account?

For security purposes, changing the email address associated with your account isn’t possible from within the app. If you need to update your email address, we can help! Just send an email to appsupport@hootswings.com and we’ll get you taken care of.

Is there a limit to the number of orders I can earn points on?

Nope! Feel free to place as many online orders as you would like, your points will be granted for each respective order accordingly.

 I scanned the barcode on my receipt but my points haven’t shown up yet. What’s going on?

After you scan the barcode on the receipt given to you, your points are put into a “pending state” for 1.5 hours. After 90 minutes, you will receive your points. Make sure you allow push notifications via our mobile app so you can be notified! If after 90 minutes have passed and your points are not visible, we can help! Just send an email to appsupport@hootswings.com

My receipt didn’t have a barcode to scan. How do I get my points now?

If you placed an order online or in the app, your receipt will not have a barcode on it because you automatically earn points for these orders. If you transacted in the restaurant and you’re still there, please see your cashier and ask for a reprint of your receipt. If there’s an issue and a receipt reprint doesn’t solve the issue, send us an email – appsupport@hootswings.com.

I placed an order on your website, hootswings.com. Do I automatically receive my points?

You must be signed-in with the same email address used for the hoots wings app if you’re using our desktop site. Do not check out as a guest. After you place an order on hootswings.com, your points are put into a “pending state” for 1.5 hours. After 90 minutes, you will receive your points. Make sure you opt into push notifications via our mobile app so you can be notified! If after 90 minutes have passed and your points are not visible, we can help! Why is the Hoots app asking for permission to see my location?

We use your location to show the closest hoots locations to you, and sort them from nearest to furthest away. Allowing hoots to use your location for this purpose is entirely optional, and if you do not want to allow the permission, will not hinder your ability to place an order or earn and redeem points.

Why is the Hoots app asking for permission to send me push notifications?

We like to keep you up to date on the latest and greatest offers. We also like to let you know when you’ve earned points and unlocked rewards! This setting is optional, but feel free to allow push notification permission so you don’t miss anything!

How do I close my account entirely?

Send an email to appsupport@hootswings.com and we’ll get you taken care of. We can close your account, freeze your account or delete your account for you.
